Only participants, volunteers, USAT officials and staff are allowed in transition.

There will be mechanics race morning outside of T1 for any last minute bike maintenance needs. Once transition closes, you will not be allowed back in so make sure and arrive early.

There will be a mandatory bike check-in and bag drop for all distances on Saturday June 10th. Bikes must be checked in by 7PM.

Course:

All distances begin with a swim in the beautiful waters of Joe Pool Lake at Cedar Hill State Park. Upon exiting the water, participants will run approx 100ft to T1 (Transition area 1.) Swim will be a rolling start. Athletes will self line-up by estimated swim time in respective ‘corrals’. Super Sprint (draft legal) racers will start first followed by intermediate, sprint & super sprint (non-draft legal).  Sprint and super sprint (non-draft legal) have 30 minutes to complete swim.  Intermediate has 1 hour to complete swim.  Super sprint (draft legal) has 10 minutes to complete swim and enter bike course.

The beautiful bike course leaves T1 and takes participants on a 14 mile route through Cedar Hill – complete with beautiful views and vistas  and ending at T2 in Historic Downtown Cedar Hill. Check out the elevation map – these hills are epic!  All athletes must have completed first loop by 9:25a. No athlete will be permitted to begin a loop (loop begins next to T2 in Historic Downtown) after 9:25a.  Bike course closes at 10:10am. See course maps for all distances HERE.

Triathletes leave T2 through Historic Downtown using Texas St & Main St to access N Cedar Hill Rd before heading back to the finish line party in Historic Downtown Cedar Hill.
