Gear Bags
All athletes will receive 3 bags at packet pickup. Use these bags to make sure your belongings are where they need to be race day.
- Morning Clothes Bag: This bag should hold any items you wore or brought to race site or that you will not be using during the race. This is a clean transition, so you’ll have to put everything back into the swim bag before taking off on the bike. You will need to drop this bag at the designated Bag drop table outside of transition on race morning s. It will be transported with your Swim/Bike bag to T2 for pick up, post-race.
- Swim/Bike Bag: CLEAR plastic Bag – write BIB number with markers provided at Packet Pickup. It will hold anything you will use during the swim that you will not take with you on the bike. Examples include: swim cap, goggles, or wetsuit (if applicable). After the swim, we will transport all your gear to T2 for you to pick up post-race.
- Run Bag: CLEAR plastic Bag – write BIB number with markers provided at Packet Pickup. It should hold all the items needed for your T2 (from bike to run)
Sunday June 11th –
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
4:30am – shuttles start to Cedar Hill State Park
5:00am – Transtion opens
6:15am – national anthem, course updates
6:20am – Draft Legal super sprint to swim start
6:30am – Super Sprint (draft legal) mass start (yellow caps)
6:35am – Intermediate, Sprint, Super Sprint (Non-drafting) begin line-up
6:50am Rolling swim start begins (in order below)
Intermediate (Green caps)
Sprint (Pink Caps)
Super Sprint start – non drafting (yellow caps)
Award ceremonies:
~9:00am Super Sprint (draft legal and non drafting)
~9:45am Sprint – aquabike and tri
~11:30 Intermediate – aquabike and tri
4:30a – Shuttle service to T1 begins at athlete parking see shuttle map. All athletes and spectators will need to shuttle to T1/Swim Start. There is no athlete parking at Cedar Hill State Park. If spectators park at Cedar Hill State Park, you will have to pay the park fee to enter and may be stuck at park until after racers leave bike course due to road closures.
